Physiotherapy
Comprehensive Initial Assessment
Following your enquiry, we will send you a form to complete to ask about your condition, current difficulties and medical history.
This will be followed by a free telephone consultation to gather more information.
During the assessment, we will go into more detail to ensure our input is safe and effective for your needs and ask about your goals.
A comprehensive assessment allows a holistic approach and ensures appropriate treatment plan going forward.
Physical Assessment
During your initial assessment, we will complete a physical assessment based on your needs. This may consist of:
Posture analysis
Movement pattern
Strength assessment
Muscle tone
Range of movement
Balance
Mobility
After your assessment, we will discuss your options for physiotherapy treatment to work towards your goals and agree a treatment plan together (including frequency of follow up sessions).
Treatment is different for everyone and designed to meet your needs with your goals in mind.
We will review your goals with you regularly to identify any changes and modify your treatment plan appropriately.
You may be prescribed exercises to work towards your specific goals.
1:1 Treatment Session
Movement Matters Class
Our low-impact circuit class is aimed at adults aged 60+, looking to improve strength, balance or mobility. This fun, gentle and supportive class aims to build confidence, enhance mobility and help you stay active and independent for longer through gentle functional exercises using chairs, light weights and resistance bands at a pace that works for you.
Led by an exercise specialist, in a welcoming environment, whether you're looking to regain confidence in your movement, or maintain your physical health. This class is a great place to start.

To be able to take part in these classes you should:
- Be able to walk independently with or without a walking aid for 10 metres.
- Have long-term health conditions under control.
